Short-term projects are just as you would think; these engagements have a beginning, middle and an end. But the interesting thing is they don’t all begin the same. One might begin at a planning stage while another might begin at execution of design/build. Also, just because they’re short-term they aren’t necessarily small. The redesign of the web site for The Chrysler Museum of Art was a fixed bid contract with a beginning a middle and an end, but it was significant enough to have ceremony at its launch and a grant attached to it for continuing online education from Chrysler Corporation.
